Dear Marietta

Where did you find this?!!

It isn't coming through very well on my computer, as expected.
What I can hear is a bit of history, for sure!

It brings tears to my eyes seeing Keith & John so young, vibrant & alive...

Thanks for sharing this piece of the past with us.
It means a lot to me!

Love

Dale

I got it to come through!
It took about 45 min to go through the first time - all choppy & jerky.
Once it had played through once - it came in great when I played it again!

Amazing stuff!

Oh my God, what a fantastic treat! Thank you for digging this up, Marietta! A few comments: Pete in those white pants !!!! They all look like babies!!! I've never heard much of young Keith's voice!!! The soft spoken French at the tail end said something about "un petit garcon qui peut entendre..." (the little boy who heard) and then it trails off. Very cool.

Thanks for sharing it. You're a treasure for finding this treasure for us.

Cheers,
AM

Hi Marietta
WHERE DID YOU DIG UP THIS GEM? IS THERE MORE?

Thanks for sharing this!!!

I am throwing in my x penny's worth about the French at the end. I hear:
au matin que les Who a enregistré leur dernier 45 tours... qui est d'un petit garçon qui en peut s'endormir.
That comes close to what is said, which then would mean: in the morning when the Who have recorded their latest single... which is about a little boy who can go to sleep (by it). Anyone out here to help with the last loose ends?

Love,
Koos

Marietta

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I can't seem to get enough of it!
Keith is oh, soo... sooo darling.
No wonder he was the pinup boy of the bunch - although Pete was always my favourite.

Big smiles!

Old studio footage is so cool. The giant knobs. And there are usually only 6 to 8 knobs total. Very cool. Things have changed. If you notice in most of these Keith and John were usually always on the the same side of the room. Makes you think.

Wow Marietta,
that's rare footage you found there, where on earth did you find it? I love watching footage in the studio with Kieth Moon making everyone laugh. Glad you're hanging out with your Mum, I bet London is a blast in the spring (with the exception of working crazy hours). Thank you so much for blogging and letting me know about this video.

This was really great! It shows me that times weren't always full of fighting looks like they were having fun!

VallyP worked out the iffy bits of the French comment as I heard it:
In the morning when the Who had recorded their latest single... story of a small boy who can't get to sleep.
